Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. In the last decade she has been working on film and television. Her work has been recognized with several awards, among them the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt, who was born to New York New York, is a well-known actress. Bassett along with her sister aged five, old, moved out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still at high school and decided that acting is what she would like to be doing. In the year 1980, Bassett graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She was also awarded a degree by The Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. The couple got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American study) in 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
